SPAIN – The digital transformation of the retail industry

The Orange Foundation has published its report “eSpain-the digital transformation in the retail sector,” a study that analyzes the process of trade sector’s digital transformation based on four strategic areas: Cloud, Mobile, Internet of Things and Social, highlighting in each of them a number of good practices and success stories with innovation as a common link.

The study analyzes the digital transformation process marked mainly by changes in consumer behavior, in the manner and time of purchase, in addition to the significant increase of connected devices, the development of new electronic means of payment or the experimental handling, where logistics plays a critical role.
